Individual one to one tuition in all aspects of Mitsuro Hikime Jewellery with Annalin
Discover the beauty of Mitsuro Hikime, a unique wax-working method used to create naturally flowing, organic textures in jewellery and sculpture. In this session you will learn how to prepare and manipulate Mitsuro Hikime wax into models which can be cast into metal. The resulting sculptural forms cannot be replicated by other forging or carving methods.
From a place of consistent practice I will guide you step by step to create your own wax designs which will be suitable for casting into precious and non precious metal. The present moment process encourages creativity and acceptance as each piece you form will be truly one of a kind.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced makers. By the end of the session you will leave with a deeper understanding of this fascinating jewellery and sculpture making technique. You will have the knowledge and skill to move forward with your own Mitsuro Hikime practice.
